**Kitchen Staff**
Toscano's is a family owned and run fine-food store, with a reputation as one of Melbourne's leading food purveyors. We have three stores throughout Melbourne's inner-eastern suburbs. We are dedicated to quality, both in the produce we have on offer and in the service we deliver.
**The role**:
- We are looking for positive and passionate Kitchen Staff or Chefs with a passion for Italian food to join the small kitchen team at our Kew store.
- This role can be a casual, part-time or full-time position depending on your availability. The hours of the shifts are 7am-4pm Monday to Friday and 6am-2pm on Saturday.
- We encourage creativity and a fun environment.
**Duties will include**:
Preparing and cooking a wide range of Italian inspired food including, but not limited to, lasagnas, braises, soups, meatballs, sandwiches, salads, pizzas.
**Requirements**:
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in food preparation
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- The ability to work as part of a small team
- The ability to follow recipes
Unlike many hospitality roles, you will not be required to work late nights. If you are looking for a hospitality role, without the hospitality hours, this position would be perfect for you.
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: From $29.23 per hour
