About Us

Guljak Topokki Chicken is a popular Korean street-food brand with over 250 stores in Korea and overseas. We're opening our new location in Kew Junction and looking for reliable, energetic kitchen staff to join our team.

Your Role

As a member of our kitchen team, you'll prepare and cook our signature dishes—crispy Korean fried chicken, spicy topokki, and comforting cupbap bowls. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with food, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering consistent quality.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing ingredients and cooking menu items according to recipes
  • Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
  • Supporting daily prep, cleaning, and kitchen organisation
  • Assisting with stock rotation and deliveries
  • Working with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations

What We're Looking For

  • Previous kitchen or hospitality experience preferred (training provided)
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings

Front of House Staff – Guljak Topokki Chicken (Kew)

About Us

Guljak Topokki Chicken brings the best of Korean street food to Melbourne With over 250 stores in Korea and expanding globally, we're opening our new Kew Junction store and are seeking friendly, customer-focused Front of House staff to join our team.

Your Role

As part of our Front of House team, you'll be the face of Guljak—greeting customers, taking orders, serving food, and ensuring everyone enjoys a warm, welcoming dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service with a smile
  • Taking orders in-store and through delivery platforms (DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.)
  • Serving food and assisting customers with menu recommendations
  • Handling transactions and maintaining a clean service area
  • Supporting the team to ensure smooth front-of-house operations

What We're Looking For

  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred (training provided)
  • Positive, friendly attitude and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
