**ABOUT TOSCANO'S**

Toscano's is a leading fresh-food retailer and delicatessen that has been family owned and run since 1950. We specialise in premium produce and gourmet ingredients, with a focus on local and artisanal products. The business is constantly developing and expanding, and we now have 3 locations across Melbourne.

**THE ROLE**

Responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining the delicatessen and other associated sections
- Managing staff
- Stock management, ordering and sourcing
- Provision of outstanding customer service, which will include excellent food and product knowledge
- Ensuring that the deli section is run in accordance with all food-safety standards

**SUITABLE CANDIDATES**
- Previous experience in a delicatessen position (essential)
- Excellent product knowledge, and an ability to discuss/assist customers with a range of food-related enquiries
- Previous management experience will be highly favourable
- Excellent organisation and a strong work-ethic
- Ability to work both autonomously, and as part of a larger team
- A passion for quality food
- Exemplary personal hygiene and personal presentation

**Salary**: From $26.15 per hour

- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
