THE ROLE

We are looking for a friendly and motivated Cheese Assistant to join our vibrant and dynamic team on a casual, part-time or full-time basis. As a Cheese Assistant, you will be supporting the Cheese Manager in maintaining the display of the cheese department on a daily basis. This includes:

  • Cutting, wrapping and packaging cheese
  • Stock rotation
  • Safe food handling, including stock movement and storage
  • Developing product knowledge
  • Delivery of outstanding customer service; and
  • Promptly assisting with customer inquiries

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong attention to detail, an eye for quality and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A passion for food
  • Experience in a similar role (highly regarded)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • The willingness to learn
  • Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons and weekends.
