THE ROLE

Get paid to learn We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate 1st Year Apprentice Chef to join our illustrious kitchen at the Toscano's of Kew. As an Apprentice Chef, you will be working alongside our qualified and extensively experienced Head Chef preparing a variety of Italian and European inspired meals, whilst completing a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery. In this role, you will learn how to:

  • Assist with food preparation and cooking
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as blenders, mixers, slicers, fryers, ovens and more under supervision
  • Learning and developing knife cutting skills
  • Organise and store particular ingredients; and
  • Maintain a clean workstation throughout the day.
