**About the role**

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly organised team player to join the Regulation and Compliance team. We are looking for someone with a keen interest and commitment to customer service, who is looking for a role where they can make a real difference to our stakeholder relationships.

Reporting to the Capability & Engagement Partner, this newly created role offers flexibility and the opportunity to develop, utilise and enhance your stakeholder engagement skills in a supportive environment. You will be responsible for coordinating our customer service approach to ensure a consistent experience for the wide range of our stakeholders.

The role will involve updating and maintaining records and databases and complying with administrative systems and processes to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible.

**About you**

Success in this role requires curiosity, willingness to learn and the ability to take ownership to resolve enquiries. You will ideally have some experience in supporting a team in a regulatory environment.

You will be responsible for delivering high quality, consistent, personalised customer service, maintaining attention to detail and proactively handling competing priorities with maturity. You will be comfortable taking the lead in the development of a customer-focused approach to deliver better outcomes for our stakeholders.

You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate specialised information to a variety of stakeholders. You will also have the aptitude to research and capture information with accuracy, along with the ability to acquire a working knowledge of technical information.

The role will require you to respond to enquiries, and escalate and redirect issues as required, to ensure the provision of accurate information to our customers.

The salary range for the position is $86,666 to $94,920 per annum, plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

We also undertake reviews and investigations into a wide range of economic and policy issues and perform other roles at the NSW Government’s request.

The Energy Sustainability Schemes Team within IPART is responsible for a range of regulatory functions which ensure the Energy Savings Scheme and the Peak Demand Reduction Scheme are sustainable, operate with integrity and are properly incentivising genuine energy savings and peak demand reduction activities.
