**In this exciting role as a Clinical Specialist, you will be working closely with the team to achieve sales revenue and share targets for your specified state by providing technical and clinical excellence to implanters and clinical stakeholders. The Structural Heart Business is one of the fastest-growing businesses within Medtronic. It helps patients all over the globe needing valve replacement.

The Structural Heart and Aortic integrated operating unit offers mínimally-invasive approaches to restore proper structure and function of the heart and the aorta. We focus on the transcatheter replacement or repair of the four heart valves—aortic, pulmonic, mitral, tricuspid—and the placement of stent grafts to treat aneurysms and dissections of the body’s largest artery, the aorta.

**A Day in the Life
**This position has the responsibility to assist in achieving sales revenue and market share targets for a specified State by assisting the State’s Clinical Territory Managers CTMs with customer service and support, and to practice professional and effective territory management in terms of organization, technical expertise, administration, inventory management and expense planning and control.

In this role, you will:

- Work with CTMs to understand the clinical and service needs of specific customers and provide highest level clinical service and technical support
- Support CTMs through aligned promotion and selling of defined Medtronic products & services to key specialists and technical staff
- Collaborate with CTM and broader team to actively participate in quarterly business reviews and business planning and execute on agreed actions
- Pro-actively meet with CTMs and other Clinical Specialists (CSs) in managing case coverage requirements for the state.
- Support sales & marketing programs with specific complimentary activities as provided by the Marketing team
- In consultation with Clinical Territory Managers and Divisional Staff, play a lead role with technical in
- services, presentations and training to specified customers.
- Consistently set and meet quarterly performance goals
- Support Territory Managers with inventory control, including the expedited delivery of stock to customers as needed.
- Support clinical study activities in conjunction with Territory Manager and the Clinical Research team.
- Ensure the highest level of product knowledge is attained and maintained.
- Monitor field inventory effectively to ensure appropriate levels of inventory in each location relative to demand
- Complete cycle counts of all required field locations on time and follow up on any missing stock
- Retrieve all expiring product from field locations and return to the warehouse prior to expiry
- All activities must be performed in compliance with the local Quality System.
- Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies or governmental regulations.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Travel requirement: less than 25%

**Must Haves**
- A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing qualifications, general science degree, or similar preferred

**Nice to Have**:

- At least 2 years’ experience as a Clinical Specialist or equivalent technical medical experience
- Successful completion of Blueprint II training
- Comprehensive clinical and technical knowledge including clinical papers. Asks skillful questions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the SH Clinical Offering
- Strong clinical and business relationships with customers
- Advanced understanding of internal workings of hospital labs/ theatres / departments e.g. purchasing, consignment, clinics, patient & implant scheduling and key influencers
- Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license
