**About this Opportunity**:
We’re looking for a Competitions Coordinator to join the Student Experience team at UQ Sport. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating a range of programs including Social Sport, Inter-College Sport and sport, cultural and community programs.

**In this role you will**:

- Oversee the implementation of social sport and inter-college programs across sports, culture, and community domains.
- Lead and manage a team of casual staff, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the Student Experience Manager in executing key student-centric initiatives.
- Provide support to UQ representative teams by actively participating in Australian University Sport events.
- Cultivate robust relationships with key stakeholders and explore avenues for enhanced service delivery.

**To be successful in the role you will have**:

- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Tertiary qualifications in sport, business, or recreation, or substantial experience in a related role.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Exceptional proficiency in crafting schedules for sporting events.
- Leadership acumen to manage and lead teams effectively.
- A proactive approach to conflict resolution and the ability to navigate challenging situations.
- Inherent drive for autonomy coupled with personal initiative.
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication.
- Proven planning, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
- An unwavering commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
