**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITIES**:
UQ Sport is seeking energetic and motivated Sport Officials (Referees & Umpires) and Sport Convenors to join our fun team. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about sport and customer service.

Reporting to the Competitions Coordinator, our Sports Officials and Convenors are responsible for the safe delivery of sporting fixtures in accordance with the rules and regulations of each individual sport.

**As a Sports Official you will**:

- have previous experience in a similar role umpiring or refereeing your chosen sport
- have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of sport specific rules
- be personable and resilient, with excellent communications skills.

Having a sport specific officiating qualification will put you ahead of the rest and make you eligible for a higher pay rate.

**As a Sports Convenor you will**:

- Have a valid First Aid and CPR certification, and knowledge of your chosen sport rules.
- Need to be a strong team player and communicate seamlessly with sport officials and sport participants.
