**About the Role**

Heart-led Sisters is a dedicated branch of Heart-led Support (HLS) focused on **supporting women** with physical disabilities, trauma backgrounds, and mental health recovery journeys.

We’re seeking trauma-informed, emotionally intelligent **female Support Workers** to walk alongside participants as they navigate the transition from clinical care, homelessness or crisis into supported living and community engagement.

You’ll be part of a grounded, purpose-led team supporting women to reclaim stability, build trust, and feel empowered in their day-to-day lives.

**Your Role Includes**:

- Providing consistent, person-led support that honours the unique experiences of each participant
- Supporting women with daily routines, mental health strategies, appointments, housing stability, and community access
- Creating safe spaces that prioritise **emotional safety**, cultural respect, and dignity
- Liaising with case workers, recovery coaches, and allied health professionals
- Accurately documenting notes, incidents, and wellness updates

**You Might Be a Great Fit If You**:

- Have experience in mental health support
- Feel passionate about trauma-informed support
- Understand the complexities of supporting women with lived experience of DV, homelessness, or institutionalisation
- Are calm under pressure, emotionally regulated, and able to hold non-judgemental space
- Thrive in meaningful, one-on-one support work where trust and consistency matter

**Essential Requirements**
- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Mental Health, or Community Services
- Current First Aid & CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening + Blue Card
- Driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Available across varying shifts (daytime, evenings, weekends, sleepovers)
