**About the Opportunity**
As the Fundraising Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a team and shape the fundraising program and optimise the donor journey across major gifts, bequests, trusts and foundations, corporate and community partnerships, events and appeals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver the fundraising program across major gifts, bequests, trusts and foundations, corporate and community partnerships, events and appeals
- Lead a team to manage and nurture the donor pipeline and identify new opportunities across all fundraising channels
- Develop and grow the Major Gifts and Bequest programs
- Nurture relationships with donors, working with the team to take them through their individual donor journey
- Build relationships internally to identify and understand funding opportunities in order to source and develop opportunities both financial and tangible for children and youth
- Assist in the development and ongoing implementation of marketing strategies and content
- Analyse and update information in the database for reporting and budgeting purposes and make recommendations accordingly
- Work in a highly collaborative manner with a passionate team inspired to see the daily impact they make in the lives of children and families across the City of Sydney

**Skills**
- Proven success in a similar role, managing a fundraising portfolio across strategic and operational levels with a focus on philanthropy
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with high levels of collaboration with stakeholders at all levels
- An inspirational leadership style, with success leading a team through strategic fundraising initiatives that meet fundraising goals
- Strong written communication skills and the flexibility to be “hands-on” when needed
- Highly organised with strong project management skills and a proactive approach
- Proven ability to analyse data, create reports and share recommendations
- A collaborative approach to fundraising and a passion to make an impact on the lives of children, youth, and families across the City of Sydney
