Large Federal Government Department seeking experienced FOI Officers to join their team.
**Your new company**
This Federal Government agency seeking APS6-EL1 Freedom of Information (FOI) Officers for a 6-month contract with possible extension or Section 26 (S26) transfers (Temporary or Permanent) would be considered for this role.
**Your new role**
In this role you will provide legislation and expert advice on matters pertaining to the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act) and the Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act). You will also engage, collaborate and build key relationships with a range of stakeholders as well as bring a continuous improvement approach to educating staff on the FOI Act and privacy matters, which will include the preparation of privacy impact assessments and strategy development to improve legislative and compliance methodologies.
