**The Role**
Our client is seeking an APS6 equivalent Freedom of Information Delegate to assist the team in the coordination of FOI requests and Participant Information Access requests made to the organisation. This role will involve team leadership and management responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities and managing workflows of a team.
Key responsibilities will include:

- Being responsible for FOI matters including consulting line areas and making FOI decisions
- Managing the priorities of clients and available resources to deliver results
- Mentoring and supporting where necessary, FOI Action Officers
- Preparing and contributing to a range of other material including briefing material for Ministers, Board papers, media releases, etc.

**Skills and Experience**
- Prior experience in Freedom of Information; the ability to manage FOI matters in line with legislative requirements
- High level organisational and analytical skills
- Resilience within an environment of constant change
