**About the Role**:
This exciting role in the Demand Planning team is the result of exponential growth in our mining division. The Demand Planning team are instrumental in supporting organisation performance and providing the highest level of support to internal and external customers. The Demand Planner is responsible for the review and validation of the national inventory forecast, ensuring that long
- and short-term demand is communicated in a timely manner. The Demand Planner position offers a unique career development opportunity to an energetic, enthusiastic, and analytical individual seeking to join a fast paced, collaborative, and vibrant organisation.
**Skills and Duties**:
**You’ll be great in this role because**:
You are technically competent and have a passion for Demand Planning, with a dynamic personality to engage key stakeholders with your drive, enthusiasm, and attention to detail. You have a solid understanding and experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain logistics, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), OHT (Off-Highway trucks) technical knowledge, complimented with well-developed customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Moreover, you are confident in your knowledge and abilities to present yourself in a professional manner.
**Skills & Experience**:
- Degree in a relevant field with at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Exposure in the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems - preferable BaaN IV
- Technical knowledge of Off-Highway trucks (OHT)
- Excellent knowledge and experience in Power BI
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suit
