Academic Resource Manager

**Description**

We’re hiring an **Academic Resource Manager** to lead the creation of high-impact, curriculum-aligned content that helps thousands of students succeed. In this full-time, hybrid working role, you’ll manage a team of Resource Developers and own the end-to-end content pipeline—planning, QA, and innovation. Reporting to the Head of Subjects, you’ll shape Contour’s academic strategy and lift the quality of our teaching materials at scale.

**What you'll do**
- Oversee the full lifecycle of academic resource development - from planning and QA to launch and iteration.
- Conduct content audits and build tutor-informed feedback loops to improve clarity, relevance and alignment.
- Review and sign off on educational materials, ensuring they reflect our teaching philosophy and curriculum standards.
- Innovate with new content formats, including AI-assisted tasks, flipped learning materials and diagnostic tools.
- Manage project workflows, ensure deadlines are met, and track progress via a live content pipeline.
- Collaborate closely with Tutoring, Subject and Campus teams to align and uplift academic delivery.
- Maintain and optimise the resource library for accessibility, version control and academic rigour.
- Mentor team members through regular 1:1s and professional development.

**Skill Requirements**:
**Strong background** in instructional design and pedagogy

‍ **Prior leadership** or coaching experience in an academic or resource-focused team

**Comfortable** using digital collaboration and content management tools

**Academic Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design or related field
- Deep familiarity with the VCE curriculum (particularly Maths, English, and/or Biology)
- Prior experience as a teacher, tutor, or curriculum designer is strongly preferred
