**About the Role**

In this role that sits within our Neurovascular division, you will be responsible for the design and execution of strategic regional market development activities for Asia Pacific markets. You will collaborate with sales management team to identify R&D, clinical, and marketing programs that will contribute to achievement of regional objectives of.

The emphasis is on strategic development, driving change and innovation and executing on a level that benefits not only the product franchise, but also the entire organization.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Collaborates with Global Marketing and Global Marketing Operations as well as Sales & Marketing leadership in the region to develop and manage the execution of education and therapy development programs, for physicians and other health care professionals involved in the use of Company products, in order to accelerate the adoption rates of the new techniques and products which Stryker offers.
- Partner with country/Global Marketing to develop tools and channel strategy and enhance key opinion leader relationships.
- Build and cultivate Stryker Neurovascular KOL relationships throughout the region. This will be accomplished by Fremont visits, national and local symposium presentations, R&D projects and participation in clinical initiatives.
- Identify and prepare speakers and topics for professional society meetings/trade shows, which promote Stryker’s products.
- Independently develop key business planning activities and ensure accuracy and conformity in budget management.
- Within portfolio, identify new markets and new franchise opportunities.
- Provide regional insight to the upstream projects and launch cadence, for TDP/PDP and advisory board concept, organization, and execution; communicate with Global marketing counterparts and assist in preparing at business planning team meetings.
- Contribute to setting market development and planning priorities.
- Contribute to franchise global downstream marketing and sales, and suggest means to improve strategy and effectiveness.
- Understand key industry dynamics and trends and in contribute in formulating strategy and concept messaging techniques.
- Drive sales training program for the franchise portfolio, ensuring best in class new hire training, and providing additional training where required.
- Network with colleagues in other franchises, other regions and cross-functional departments to accomplish “best in class” business objectives.
- Attends relevant scientific and technical meetings and conferences.
- Build quality into all aspects of the work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

**Qualifications/Work Experience Required**
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- At least 8 years of successful experience in medical device industry.
- Preferably 3-4 years in neurovascular / medical sales and or marketing.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead projects and execute through others.
- Demonstrated success leading in a team environment.
- Regional experience required.
- Demonstrated success managing a product line from concept design through product launch.
