**About the position**:
The Team Leader, Finance & Investment provides the Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board with strategic financial leadership to assist in achieving budgetary and investment goals. It does this by managing two small teams to support the organisation to manage and help attract externally funded projects and contribute to the development of Business Plans and budgets. End of financial year activities are coordinated in line with timeframes required by Shared Services SA and the Audit Office of SA. Proactive and risk based advice is provided to aid decision makers across the board, including the executive leadership, the Board and its Finance, Risk and Audit Committee.

**Who you are & what you’ll do**:

- You will have experience in the preparation of financial statements and a sound understanding of Accounting Standards and Treasurer’s Instructions.
- You will be a great communicator with the ability to negotiate, write briefings and present to people with diverse skills and experience.
- You will have developed and implemented organisational budgets, and worked with all areas of the business to assist in the development of annual business and project plans.
- You are a leader, able to support your teams to ensure compliance with Treasurer's Instructions, Accounting Standards and sound financial governance practices, as well as identifying, securing and leveraging financial resources aligned with strategic objectives.

**What you’ll need**:

- A degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business is highly desirable, as is a CPA or CA qualification.
- Eligibility for this position requires a valid Australian working visa.

**Additional details**:
**Remuneration**: Classification ASO7 $108,109 min - $116,864 max p.a

**Term contract**: Up to 18 months contract.

**Future opportunities**: This recruitment process may be used to fill vacancies and establish a merit list for future opportunities up to twelve months.
