An opportunity has become available for a Business trainee with a highly reputable organisation in Ipswich, starting ASAP.

Working full-time hours, the duties will include:

- Reception, greeting customers
- Making and receiving telephone calls
- Management of stationery and kitchen supplies
- Assisting with accounts duties
- Typing and preparing business documents
- Filing / recordkeeping
- Data entry
- Providing general administrative support

This full-time traineeship will run over a 12 month period, during which time you are paid the national training wage (ranging from $363.40 to $738.00 per week depending on your highest year of schooling and when you finished school).

Whilst working full-time in a professional office environment, you will also be completing your Certificate III in Business through a mix of on-the-job learning and experience, combined with online learning activities.

To be eligible to complete this traineeship, you must not have previously completed a Certificate III (or higher) level qualification (note that qualifications completed as part of your senior certificate at school or within two years of finishing school may be able to be set aside to enable eligibility).

Applicants should be keen to learn, motivated to achieve goals and eager to build a career within an office / administration environment. You should also demonstrate:

- Warm, confident and articulate communication and interpersonal skills
- A sound understanding of MS Office with the aptitude to learn new computer systems quickly
- Accurate keyboarding skills (ideally 30wpm+ when touch typing)

Customer service skills gained through some type of prior work experience (such as hospitality, retail, office, etc) will be well regarded.
