**The Role**:
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and driven individual to step into the Team Leader role leading a group of specialist Motor Claims Consultants. The role is responsible for leading a team of Motor Claims Consultants, who each manage their own portfolio of claims, with the key focus of this position to manage costs whilst delivering consistently high levels of service to our customers.

**Your primary responsibilities will be;
- Develop, coach & motivate a team of Claims Consultants to meet agreed objectives
- Lead & monitor the team to execute a high standard of service & process adherence
- Monitor & support the management of a portfolio of claims including:

- Workload prioritisation and allocation
- Claim review & authorisation
- Technical product, process & system & compliance support
- Performance & progress reporting
- Provide detailed input into ongoing process & system development Provide input into staffing requirements & recruitment

**Knowledge and Experience
- Strong people leadership & demonstrated ability to develop technical staff within insurance claims
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders
- Well developed & demonstrated understanding of legislative, regulatory & compliance obligations
- Ability to analyse & resolve problems whilst maintaining a focus on customer outcomes and relations

**About Us**:
Auto & General is a leader in the insurance industry, committed to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a Team Leader to inspire, motivate, and develop a team of Motor Claims consultants responsible for managing the Motor Claims function.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
Minimum of 5 years of leadership/mentoring experience, preferably in customer-facing organisations (Financial Services/Insurance preferred).

Previous Team Leader or equivalent experience.

Extensive Motor Claims experience is beneficial.

Proven ability to lead and motivate people.

Demonstrated ability in managing critical stakeholder relationships.

Ability to effectively analyse and resolve problems.

Core focus on customer outcomes and relations.

Attention to detail.

Ability to innovate and be creative in developing processes and procedures.
