Team Leader Home Claims

**The role**

Auto & General is on the lookout for team leaders to develop, coach and motivate a team of claims consultants in order to meet agreed objectives in our Kawana office.
- Lead and monitor the team to execute a high standard of service and process adherence
- Monitor and support the management of a portfolio of claims including:

- Workload prioritisation and allocation
- Claim review and authorisation
- Technical product, process and system and compliance support
- Performance and progress reporting
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and operational activities that will continually improve Claims performance
- Provide detailed input into ongoing process and system development
- Provide input into staffing requirements and recruitment

**What experience you’ll bring**
- Well-developed and demonstrated understanding of the legislative, regulatory and compliance obligations to operate in the FSR environment
- Previous Team Leader or equivalent experience
- Extensive Home Claims experience
- Proven ability in leading and motivating people
- Ability to effectively analyse and resolve problems
- A core focus on Customer outcomes and relations
- Ability to innovate and be creative in developing process and procedures
- Ability to effectively manage conflict and negotiate where required
- Home claims experience preferred but not essential
