- Not for Profit, with salary packaging benefits, flexibility and wellbeing
- Collaborative, highly skilled team with career development
**About the North East Metro Family & Carer-led Centre**
The North East Metro Family and Carer-led Centre (FCLC) will be delivered by Access Health & Community (AccessHC), in partnership with SHARC (Self Help Addiction Resource Centre) healthAbility and Inspiro who collectively bring over 200 years of experience working within communities across the North East Metro of Victoria.
We aspire to improve the mental health and wellbeing of families and carers in the North East Metro community to provide a service of hope, recovery and humanity.
We share a commitment and passion to deliver on the reform agenda recommendations set out in the Victorian Mental Health Royal Commission.
It is our vision that our services are designed, governed and led by people with lived experience as families or carers of people with mental health challenges, including those with co-occurring substance use. The majority of our staff in the North East Metro FCLC will have lived or living experience as families or carers of people with mental ill health.
The North East Metro FCLC will ensure that families, carers, friends and supporters of people experiencing mental health challenges have flexible and accessible support to community services, with tele and digital support that will connect them with their peers, communities and clinical services to improve their quality of life and wellbeing. These services will be available at no-cost to families and carers of people with mental health problems, including those who have co-occurring substance use.
**The opportunity**
This is an exciting new opportunity to make a difference to improve mental health services and work within a supportive and value-based culture that offers clinical expertise and an authentic understanding and empathy of mental health problems.
**About the role**
The Manager - North East Metro Family and Carer-led Centre will be responsible for the operational management of the new Family and Carer-led Centre (FCLC) in the Northeast Metropolitan region. The FCLC will be led by AccessHC in partnership with healthAbility, Inspiro Community Health and SHARC.
