**Your new role**
The purpose of the role is to provide high level specialist industrial relations skills and advice and to manage the review, negotiation, and implementation of Industrial and enterprise bargaining agreements. Other duties include but are not limited to;
- Provide highly specialised industrial relations strategic planning and oversight of the industrial and/or enterprise bargaining agreements, including negotiation and consultation with the employer and employee representatives, the Management Officer, the Industrial Relations Committee and the relevant Union/s.
- Manage the collation and analysis of information relating to industrial matters and liaise with staff and management to obtain relevant information and to determine appropriate strategies required to support the delivery of the specified outcomes.
- Liaise with the relevant union/s in relation to the formation and implementation of an Industrial Consultative Committee, including appropriate Terms of Reference, scope and Committee membership.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated management skills and expertise to lead a specialised program or activity. An understanding of contemporary management practices and the ability to mentor and role-model less qualified or less experienced staff.
- The ability to communicate and provide authoritative advice on complex matters to non-specialists, high level liaison, presentation and conflict resolution skills and the capacity to represent the organisation.
- Highly developed conceptual and reasoning skills to research, investigate, analyse, evaluate and integrate relevant solutions from related disciplines or fields in the area of activity. Flexibility, creativity and innovation associated with research, investigative, analytical and appraisal skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in human resources or law.
- Current driver’s licence.
