**About the role**

The Western Health CSSD Footscray campus has a temporary position available for a qualifed CSSD Technician with a minimum of 2 years experience to join and support our team.

The position is available from November 2025 to June 2026.

**Key responsibilities**:

- responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilising of reusable medical devices in accordance with national standards and hospital policies
- navigate the tracking system (Scancare) to support daily work requirements
- Be a team player

**About you**:

- Hold a Certificate 3 in Sterilisation and a minimum of 2 years full time CSSD experience
- Be available to work a rotating roster, Monday to Sunday
- Be a positive team worker, who is flexible, has good organisation and time management skills
- Have good computer skills to be able to effectively navigate the tracking system
- Enjoy learning and contributing to the team
- be able to take direction from senior staff

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women’s prison located in Ravenhall.
