The Role

Alfred Health currently has part time (72 hours per fortnight) permanent position for a Grade 5 Instrument Technician based primarily at The Alfred Hospital. Instrument Technicians work across a 24/7 roster and are responsible for the processing - from decontamination to issue of sterile instruments and equipment used in all areas of the hospital.

Prior experience in CSS is essential with 4-5 Years experience

Experience And Qualifications Required

To succeed in this position you will need to have:
  • Good communication skills including fluent English written & oral skills (essential)
  • The ability to learn new processes and tasks quickly and efficiently
  • The flexibility and availability to work a rotating roster across 24/7
  • Demonstrated reliability and flexibility in your previous employment
  • Certificate 4 in Steralisation
