The **Compliance Coordinator - Compliance & Regulatory Affairs** is responsible for preparing regulatory and compliance correspondence and documents ensuring they satisfy local, state and federal requirements. Responsibility also includes ensuring, the implementation and monitoring of compliance controls, compliance procedures and operational processes.
This role provides compliance advice to Crown business units as appropriate; builds and maintains a relationship with the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSCI), law enforcement agencies as appropriate and other Crown properties.
**Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to**:
- Review, update and submit Monthly Compliance reports.
- Attend new employee inductions as required to present Crown’s compliance objectives to new employees and provide refresher advice to existing employees/Business Units
- Assist departments with drafting of proposed amendments to the Casino Manuals.
- Implementation and monitoring of compliance controls, compliance procedures and operational processes.
- Build and maintain a relationship with DLGSCI and other Crown properties.
**To be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following**:
- Experience working in a compliance/investigation related environment
- Proven research and report writing and drafting skills.
- A good working knowledge of the legislation.
- Proven negotiation and rapport building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing demands.
- Extensive experience with effective stakeholder relationships
- Experience working in a casino or gaming environment is preferred, but not essential
