We have a fulfilling opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to join Stockland as a Customer Experience and Engagement Manager. To be successful in this role you will drive the creation of a strong customer experience strategy, in alignment with the overarching asset strategy, for five of our retail assets, Burleigh Heads, Birtinya, Baringa, Hervey Bay and Rockhampton shopping centres.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the centre marketing outcomes are delivered and achieved. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager and working as part of a dedicated team, you will develop the strategy and manage the implementation of a robust calendar of campaigns, projects, initiatives, and events for the shopping centres in the Queensland region. In collaboration with the Content and Distribution Manager (Digital/Social Media), you’ll ensure content is consistent and seamless across all channels, both offline and online.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Creation and implement a strong customer experience strategy aligned to the overarching marketing strategy at asset level to deliver strong returns
- Design and implement regional and local campaigns aligned to key customers and areas of opportunity
- Brief and manage key agencies partnerships
- Understanding of centre retailer’s issues and opportunities for integration into key strategies and activations
- Assist with positioning of Stockland brand through implementation of PR strategy and provision of content for marketing communications
- Assist in allocation and management of centre marketing budget in accordance with approved budget parameters
- Develop network in the industry to ensure that of sponsorships and participation opportunities
- Manage business unit overhead budget and forecast
- Identify key stakeholders within region and ensure regular contact
- Engage relevant local groups/committees
**About you**
- A strong strategic marketing and customer experience background, developed through your experience in campaign planning and implementation within the retail industry or agency, FMCG or similar
- Experience in campaign development and management
- Strategic mindset and commercial acumen to manage budgets and maximise ROI
- Ability to interpret and translate customer data to inform marketing strategies
- Strong collaboration skills, you have experience in engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, both internally and externally, including retailers and local community groups
- Ability to lead and mentor other team members
