**The Role**
The AIR6000PH2A/B Governance Manager is integral to the establishment and management of systematic project governance needed to ensure sound transition of the Australian Joint Strike Fighter capability into Sustainment, by:
- Supporting the Project Director accountability to plan, lead and manage project performance governance, including convening monthly Governance Boards, and coordinating regular project performance and financial reviews (CASG, ANAO etc);
- Working collaboratively with Project Managers, Sustainment Managers, enablers including Australian personnel embedded in the US Joint Project Office and Defence agencies to coordinate the required systematic project governance;
- Ensuring maintenance of a reference system and procedures that:
1. Characterise the annual operations cycle of the US Joint Project Office,
2. Enable timely, coordinated engagement by Australian Project and Sustainment Managers.
**About our Team**
Within Aerospace Combat Systems Branch in CASG, the AIR6000PH2A/B is a dynamic and dedicated team, delivering Australia’s Joint Strike Fighter capability. Our acquisition is enabled via the United States Joint Project Office, governed by the Production, Sustainment and Follow-on Development Memorandum of Agreement (PSFD MOU). This acquisition arrangement required the establishment of many unique systems and processes to reconcile between US and Australian materiel and financial policies, and statutory governance requirements. These structures, systems and processes were established progressively by the former JSF Division and require dedicated management through transition and Project Closure.
A Negative Vet 1 (NV1) Security clearance is essential.
