Wood is currently recruiting a Senior Quality Advisor for our Operations APAC (West) business in Perth. This is an opportunity to join our expanding Oil and Gas Operations team, due to recently securing a significant project with a major player in the LNG industry.

Wood's Operations APAC (West) business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimization, maintenance and technical services to the Oil & Gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with the region’s most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Southeast Asia.

As a Quality Advisor you will be reporting directly to the Quality Manager, you will provide QA / QC expertise for design and execution of the work-scope on various projects for one of our key contracts.

Your responsibilities will also include:

- Assist with QC review of supplier documentation submitted for purchased product to confirm compliance with requirements
- QA / QC activities at office facilities and vendor manufacturing sites to achieve project objectives
- Support the creation and reviewing QA / QC requirements of tenders and contract documentation
- Liaising with client quality personnel on project quality activities
- Evaluation of potential suppliers and sub-contractors
- Coordinate third party vendor inspection visits; review and distribution of inspection reports

Ideally, you will be suitably qualified (Technical Diploma or Business / Commerce / Engineering Degree) from a recognized institution and have a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar role.

In addition, you will have:

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office
- High level of communication skills in both written and spoken format
- Analytical, Problem solving skills and systematic thinking

What will set you apart will be your relevant experience in the Offshore / Onshore LNG, O&G brownfields engineering EPCM sector in Australia.
