**Ventia** is looking for an experienced **SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) Advisor** to join our W**A Transport Team**. **Your Role**:
As the SHEQ Advisor, you will be a key safety leader on our Transport and Civil projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone involved, while promoting a strong culture of safety throughout the projects.**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement Safety Management Plans and ensure alignment with client-specific requirements
- Monitor and maintain compliance with SHEQ legislation, industry standards, and ISO standards
- Provide regular updates on safety and health legislation changes, organisational practices, and risk assessments
- Conduct site audits and inspections to ensure safety standards are adhered to
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks
- Provide safety coaching and training to workers and subcontractors
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in safety performance

**Key Requirements**:

- Tertiary Qualification in Workplace/Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
- Proven experience as a safety professional, with a focus on SHEQ in transport, civil, or construction projects
- Strong knowledge of SHEQ legislation, regulatory requirements, and ISO standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of staff and stakeholders
- Ability to work in a FIFO environment and adapt to remote site conditions
