We are currently recruiting an experienced HST Advisor at our Woodie Woodie Mine Site, situated 407kms south - east of Port Hedland in the Pilbara.
Reporting to the Senior Health Safety and Training Advisor your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Drive the development and implementation of best practice, legally compliant health, safety and training management systems and processes;
- Ensure that a risk-based approach to health and safety is achieved across the allocated operations;
- Ensure safe work processes are in place, understood by all and being used accordingly;
- Conduct regular audits and inspections across our operations;
- Produce statistical reporting;
- Develop and present training programs;
- Participate in investigations of incidents and develop quality actions;
- Working closely with elected Health and Safety Representatives to support their development, effectiveness and collaboration.

Skills & Qualifications required to be successful in this role:

- Tertiary qualifications in OH&S or related fields;
- Previous experience in a Health and Safety Advisor role;
- Cert IV Healthcare Ambulance or similar qualification is desirable;
- Emergency Response qualifications and experience preferred;
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment desirable
- Strong communication, ability to solve problem, influencing and interpersonal skills;
- Drive and commitment to succeed in a challenging role;
- Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures;
- High level of computer literacy, particularly INX, Pronto and MS office suite preferred;
- Exceptional attention to detail;
