**What You Will Be Doing**
The Community Care Allied Health & Aboriginal Health Manager will be part of the Community Care Senior Management Team, responsible for managing the program’s Allied Health clinician’s. Funded by the Health Independence Program, these clinicians provide a range of services that deliver healthcare to support the transition from hospital to the home.
The team also works across community settings with the aim of preventing the need for a hospital presentation or stay, with many people accessing care directly from the community. The manager also has operational oversight of the delivery of Aboriginal Hospital Liaison services and the Koolin Balit Coordinator to enhance the organisations cultural responsiveness and care to our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.>
**What You Need**
We anticipate you will have:
- Bachelors or Post Graduate qualifications in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or Social Work
- Current registration with the National Registration board (AHPRA) for registered professions or eligible for membership of relevant professional association for non-registered professions.
- Ability to support and supervise staff, promote professional competence and foster individual staff development
- Experience in developing and fostering relevant partnerships within the acute, subacute, residential and community sectors
- Experience in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of innovative clinical services
- Current driver’s licence
