About the role
- Shifts available Monday to Sunday between 8am to 10pm plus wakeover shifts
- Supporting clients to live an active lifestyle and participate in their community at our Short Term Accommodation in Toukley on the Central Coast
- Work to behaviour support plans by utilising positive behaviour strategies
- Assist and support clients with personal and hygiene care
- Maintenance of progress notes and record-keeping
- Manual handling and household tasks such as menu planning, cooking and cleaning
About you
We’re after people that have a good heart, with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of people with disability and have similar values to ours.
- Flexibility to work multiple shifts a day including, early mornings, late nights, weekends and public holidays
- Experience in disability desirable
- High levels of enthusiasm, initiative and a positive attitude while acting with integrity, honesty and respect
- NSW driver's license
- Working With Children Check & NDIS Workers Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
- First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain
- High levels of enthusiasm, initiative and a positive attitude while acting with integrity, honesty and respect
