Nextt is seeking a committed and experienced Female Support Worker to provide in-home care to a female client living independently in Toukley, NSW. This role includes personal care, health-related supports, and assistance with daily routines.

Award: SCHADS Award – Level E3.1 Casual

Shifts Available

Week 1:

  • Morning Shifts (2 support workers):

    Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday – 8:00am to 10:00am
  • Lunch Shift (1 support worker):

    Monday – 1:00pm to 3:00pm
  • Bed Shift (1 support worker):

    Tuesday – 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Week 2:

  • Morning Shifts (2 support workers):

    Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 8:00am to 10:00am
  • Lunch Shift (1 support worker):

    Friday – 1:00pm to 3:00pm

Duties and Responsibilities

Morning Shift (8:00am – 10:00am)

– Personal care

– Bowel care and catheter care

– Hoist transfers and manual handling

– Meal preparation and feeding

– Medication administration

Lunch Shift (1:00pm – 3:00pm)

– Catheter care

– Meal preparation

– Medication

– Repositioning as required

Bed Shift (7:00pm – 9:00pm)

– Assistance with evening routine and personal care

– Hoist transfers

– Catheter care

– Medication administration

Pay Rates – SCHADS Award Level E3.1 (Casual):

  • Base hourly rate: $35.15
  • Afternoon shift (ends 8pm–midnight, Mon–Fri): $38.67
  • Active night shift (finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Mon–Fri): $39.37
  • Saturday: $49.21
  • Sunday: $63.27
  • Public Holiday: $77.33

Essential Requirements

  • Female support worker (genuine occupational requirement under Section 31 of the Anti-Discrimination Act)
  • Experience with personal care, manual handling, and in-home supports
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Manual Handling and Medication Training (desirable)
  • Driver's Licence (desirable)
