**About the Role**

This role is primarily responsible for the management of bush regeneration and environmental projects, and supervising on ground environmental worksite activities and contractors. You will compile, manage and administer contracts relating to natural area management, and assist in the implementation of the Biodiversity Strategy through providing expert advice and assistance in relation to bushland and wetland activities.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Contract documentation is prepared and contracts managed in accordance with guidelines, standards and relevant legislation.
- Ensure bushland and wetland contracts are maintained in accordance with budget and schedules set.
- Detailed programming, scoping and reviewing of performance and the provision of reports as required.
- Delivery of biodiversity strategy actions to establish and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Provide technical and quality researched information.
- Undertake a number of projects in landscape development and bushland rehabilitation within budget.

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field such as Bush Regeneration, Conservation and Land Management, Horticultural Science, Natural Resource Management or Environmental Science
- Experience with the supervision and management of contractors and contracts.
- Demonstrated experience supervising contractors and managing contracts.
- Experience managing budgets and projects.
- Ability to interpret regulation and policy
- Class C Driver’s Licence.
- 12 months experience in a similar work environment.
- Demonstrated experience in administering and reporting on environmental grants and projects.
