**An exciting opportunity exists to join our Compliance team as Compliance Manager - Insurance on a full-time, permanent basis.**

**We are flexible for this role to be based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne, as long as you can attend our office at least once a week.**

**About the role**

As Compliance Manager - Insurance, you will be responsible for ensuring the various components of our Risk Management Frameworks and Compliance Policies are embedded within our first line business units.

Day to day, you'll:

- Provide the business with comprehensive analysis and guidance to enable compliance with existing and changing regulatory obligations.
- Provide advice and support to business units to promote effective risk management and a healthy compliance culture.
- Ensure we continually meet our licence and regulatory obligations, including to APRA, ASIC, OAIC, AUSTRAC, FSC and others.

This role is available as a **full-time, permanent** opportunity.

**About you**

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills we'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them.

It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

- Strong experience in risk management/compliance, ideally in relation to insurance products such as those provided within superannuation funds.
- Knowledge of Corporations Act 2001, Corporations Regulations 2001, ASIC Regulatory Guides, Life Insurance Act 1995 and Life Insurance Code of Practice
- Knowledge of regulatory bodies’ (e.g. APRA, ASIC, AOIC, AUSTRAC, ACMA) policy and guidelines.
- Knowledge of industry association rules (particularly FSC, ASFA).
