Founded in 2007, from what started as small crew of shutdown specialists, and a single utility operating in the Pilbara. Our group has now grown to an operational workforce of over 2,800 personnel with an extensive fleet of modern vehicles and equipment that operate nationwide.
Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a Planner Scheduler to join our Projects team, Working from our CBD Head Office with visits to project sites as required, this role is offered on a full time permanent basis and reports to the Project Controls Manager.
**THE ROLE**
As a Planner Scheduler, you will be responsible for:
- Work with Project Managers and Coordinators to develop and maintain detailed resource loaded schedules of projects
- Integrate multiple schedules into a master project schedule, base line, status, and perform measurement baseline
- Develop and maintain summary level schedule reports
- Gather and analyse information to prepare reports on the progress of projects
- Periodic site visits to review construction progress and/or during shut-down periods
- Support the project management team in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of projects, including dashboard maintenance
- Troubleshoot and monitor potential scheduling problems
- Facilitate and participate in weekly schedule reviews
- Training of Supervisors, Superintendents & Project Manager to learn, or increase skills in, project scheduling company wide
**ABOUT YOU**
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree/experience combination in project management and/or engineering would be highly regarded
- Minimum of 2 years project experience
- Experience using Primavera P6, MS Project and MS Excel is essential. PowerBI or equivalent is desirable
- Strong organisational, analytical, and writing skills, including writing functional and technical specifications
- Demonstrated facilitation skills, including the ability to motivate and influence others, build effective interpersonal relationships
- Able to foster and contribute to a positive and productive team environment
- Creative and innovative with assignments
- Able to embrace and participate in change initiatives
- A National Police Clearance
