Maintenance Planner and Scheduler

The Planner and Scheduler role is responsible for delivery of the company's' services to various contracts through the successful scheduling and delivery of works, ensuring the service specific deliverables of the specifications are delivered in a safe, timely and profitable manner in accordance with the client's expectations and agreed contractual obligations.

**The Role**
The Planner and Scheduler role is responsible for delivery of the company's' services to various contracts through the successful scheduling and delivery of works, ensuring the service specific deliverables of the specifications are delivered in a safe, timely and profitable manner in accordance with the client's expectations and agreed contractual obligations.

Ensures that all works are carried out in accordance with contractual, HSE, Statutory and quality assurance requirements, whilst ensuring Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are met or exceeded for both the company and the customer.

**Key Responsibilities**
Business and Financial Performance Info
- Compiles and presents specified management and financial reports for statutory purposes to the standards required.
- Provides input into future information systems to ensure optimal efficiency is achieved.
- Maintains budget and forecasting pertaining to the relevant contract / business unit.
- Maintains and develops procedure documentation pertaining to systems and processes specific to the contract site, where applicable.

Customer Service
- Leads in the provision of excellent customer service.
- Effectively communicates with customers to support the service delivery team in maximising customer satisfaction.
- Provides clear, timely and transparent communication to both internal and external customers to ensure quality service is provided together with achieving service level targets.
- Follows up any comments or negative feedback provided to identify the fault in delivery and ensure that processes and procedures are put in place to prevent issues reoccurring.

Procurement
- Maintains a relationship with vendors and potential suppliers.
- Manages operational aspects of contract performance and manage dispute resolutions to obtain the best outcome for the business.

Asset Management
- Establishes and manages plans relating to scheduled maintenance in line with required contract requirements, timeframes, and budget.
- Ensures timely provision of services meeting required safety, timeframes, budgets, and quality as agreed in contract.
- Proactively manages Work in Progress (WIP) and ensures that there are no delays in delivery.
- Provides timely reporting to line regarding WIP, identifying any potential risks in delivery.
- Engages, monitors and reports on team/vendor performance and input.
- Minimises risk through follow up and management of poor performance and missed deadlines.
- Ensures all activities are developed and implemented in a manner, which protects the company's funds, interests, and reputation.

Risk
- Manages the delivery and compliance with internal and external audit schedules.
- Follows up on any non-compliance issues and ensures timely fixes are applied.

Safety Environment & Quality
- Actively identifies hazards in the workplace and implement corrective action.
- Ensures that safety reporting and communications are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensures all subcontractors are inducted into the clients HSE and quality systems.
- Support and identifies actions to improve health and safety as implemented by management.

**Qualifications/Skills**
- Certificate in Asset Management (preferred)
- Previous experience in working within a facilities management, contract management or service-related industry.
- A proven track record in the industry in a similar role.
- An intermediate skill of MS Office suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to plan and organise.
