**About Iron Creek Farm Stay**

Located on the doorstep of the Tasman Peninsula and featuring stunning accommodation as well as several premium food and beverage venues, Iron Creek Bay is a brand-new farm stay experience which has been earmarked to become the next iconic Tasmanian tourism destination.

**About the Role**

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximising total revenue potential for Iron Creek Bay Farm Stay across our rooms, groups as well as conference + events market segments. Working as part of the hotel executive committee, you will report to the General Manager and will focus on the acquisition of new business as well as overseeing the operational needs of the conference and events department.

**Some of the responsibilities include**:

- Achieve established targets set in conjunction with the General Manager and Hotel Directors.
- Develop new and maintain existing relationships with key professional conference organisers, venue finders and corporate accounts
- To proactively search for new business with a view of increasing acquisitions across priority industry sectors
- Work with the General Manager and Directors to review hotel sales targets and pricing strategies for all key accounts
- To work closely with the General Manager, Rooms Manager and Food & Beverage Manager to support maximising conversion and total hotel revenues across site wide activations and campaigns.
- Ensure all reports and correspondence are completed accurately and punctually
- Actively pursue marketing intelligence and potential business opportunities

**Qualifications**
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Sales & Marketing, Events, Commerce or other related business qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hotel industry
- Business development and event management skills and/or experience
- A strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational / time-management skills
- Proven experience in achieving sales targets, acquiring and retaining business
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
