**Service Manager - CTP Claims**

**The opportunity**
- An opportunity for an experienced Leader in our NSW CTP Claims Business
- Location: Parramatta
- 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

The key responsibilities for this role include the following, but not limited to:

- Supervises the day-to-day activities of the assigned CTP claims unit and provides advice to team on claims management, policy guidelines and quality
- Initiate new ideas and concepts to support the development and delivery of the business plan for the business unit.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of claims management strategies and objectives
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with both statutory and corporate service standards and statutory regulations
- Continuous business process improvement including process and cost efficiencies/synergies
- Setting reserves and authorizing payment within scope of authority, settling claims in the most cost-effective manner, and ensuring timely issuance of disbursements
- Handling of complaints and investigations of suspicious/fraudulent insurance claims
- Provide technical expertise and mentoring to assist the team development

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Leadership and CTP claims experience a must
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A natural relationship builder with solid negotiation, conflict resolution and people management skills
- Capacity for self-reflection and ability to work well in a team
