About the role

We’re seeking a Principal Analyst - Loyalty to perform and oversee analytics activities within the Rewards team and work with partner teams. Your expertise will play a key role in establishing a rewards data platform that assists strategic goals, compliance and enhances data capabilities.

Day-to-day, you will:
- Conduct in-depth analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and root causes of issues, and to identify business opportunities- Translate complex data and analysis into clear, concise and actionable insights- Conduct member segmentation analysis to identify key customer segments and their behaviours- Provide insights into member preferences and trends to support targeted marketing efforts- Analyse customer feedback and survey data to identify areas for program improvement- Perform and provide guidance, coaching and support to team members- Develop and manage procedures for integrating data from various sources, ensuring seamless aggregation and alignment with business needs

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or a related field- Deep experience in data analysis, preferably within a loyalty or rewards program context- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)- Familiarity with statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python) is a plus- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- Ability to communicate complex findings in a clear, precise and actionable manner- Extensive experience in manipulating and analysing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources and data visualization- Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills coupled with the ability to work in an ambiguous environment
