**The Company**
This leading ANZ food manufacturing business has got ambitious targets to further grow their market share in the food sector. With a strong culture around innovation and category development, they continue to lead their sector of the market with new & exciting products. Reporting to the CFO, this is a business critical and strategic hire, and will be responsible for leading and developing all the procurement strategies and activities across the organisation to meet business objectives.
**The Role**

As the leader of the Procurement function you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities, providing leadership to the team within the function, and develop the short and long term strategies to create value for the overall organisation. The key responsibilities will be:
- Provide leadership and talent development of the Procurement Team who are responsible for the procurement of goods and services for the business.
- Maximise value across the business, whether that is within direct or indirect categories, through strategic sourcing of goods and services. Current spend across the business is approx. $300mill
- Ensure continue supply of goods and services to meet all manufacturing and supply chain responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the procurement strategy and framework that aligns to the organisations strategic plan
- Deliver sustained value and competitive advantage for the business by working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- You will develop adherence policies and work with the business to ensure optimum service levels are achieved by all level of suppliers

**Your Background**
We are looking for a procurement professional that has experience running a range of categories in an organisation, specifically within a food manufacturing environment.
- You will be degree qualified and have a minimum of 7 years’ experience managing a range of categories in a large organisation
- Naturally influential, you will engage stakeholders with ease and negotiate successfully to deliver on key business objectives
- A strong leader, someone that support and develop a range or people across the procurement function
- Well-developed compliance and regulation experience with the ability to manage supplier contracts
- A desire to continuously review and improve current processes, with a collaborative approach to all stakeholders
- A deep understanding of how to manage strategic sourcing events and deliver value across a group
