**The Company**
My client is a leading FMCG company with an impressive history of supplying products across Australia. Famous for their high-quality products and excellent reputation in the food industry they aim to continue to be best-in-class. With the drive to continue to improve they require a Procurement Analyst to provide strategic leadership and increase the performance of their procurement function.
**The Role**
**Reporting to the GM Procurement and sitting in the Procurement team your responsibilities will include;**
- Be responsible for the full end-to-end procurement for direct/indirect categories and their spend associated with each.
- Deliver sourcing activities ranging from simple RFQ to complex tenders to maximize commercial, operational and ESG outcomes.
- Identify opportunities, through spending analysis and partnering with Business Units
- Plan and execute sourcing activities and commercial negotiations in line with the business processes
- Deliver on all ESG standards
- Build and Maintain effective Supplier and Internal Relationships.
**Your Background**:
**In order to be successful in this role you will be;**
- Highly skilled at the preparation and execution of complex commercial negotiations.
- Exceptional ability to manipulate master data, crunch the numbers to identify spend trends and opportunities.
- Contribute to Procurement Strategy and Framework development and assist in leading organizational change.
- Extensive experience in undertaking procurement activities, ideally across a diverse range of categories.
- Food experience within FMCG is desirable
- Ability to present and influence ideas/findings to C-suite.
