**EXTERNAL HIRE COORDINATOR**
**PART-TIME, PERMANENT
Cranbrook School is seeking an experienced and energetic External Hire Coordinator to join
our dynamic Facilities Team based at our Senior School campus in Bellevue Hill.

**ABOUT THE POSITION**

The External Hire Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the external hire of Cranbrook
School’s facilities from the first point of customer contact through to event completion.

Our facilities available for hire include the state of the art, brand new Murray Rose Aquatic
& Fitness Centre and the Memorial Chapel and Packer Theatre located in the Vicars
Centenary Building.

This position is the central point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders and is
responsible for facility tours, customer liaison, booking management, quoting and invoicing,
resource allocation, event set up coordination and trouble shooting.

You will work with key stakeholders across the School including Facilities, Maintenance,
Contractors, Finance and the Office of the Head of Senior School.

This is a part-time position working 3 days per week. Some work outside of core business
hours and on weekends will be required.

**SELECTION CRITERIA**

- Demonstrated experience in an administrative and/or coordination role

- High level skills in Microsoft Office systems including Outlook, Excel and Word

- High standard of written and verbal communication

- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail

- Able to take ownership of tasks, demonstrate initiative and produce work of a
consistently high standard

- Strong problem-solving skills and decision making capability
- Able and willing to work outside of core office hours and weekends

- A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Experience in a similar role in accommodation, hospitality, tourism or related industry and a
knowledge of events, venue operations or functions would be advantageous.
