The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, we are looking for an incredible Food and Beverage Supervisor who will take charge of the daily running of our two tasty sandwich shops. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring enthusiastic and committed Front of House (FOH) teams to deliver a great product, together with an epic customer service experience.

Responsibilities will include:

- Reviewing sales and cost of goods to ensure business growth and profitability
- Ordering and maintaining stock levels (drinks, packaging, signage, labels etc)
- Providing leadership and training to new and established team members, to ensure the successful operation of the businesses
- Planning, identifying, communicating and delegating appropriate responsibilities (e.g. training advocates and practices to the team)
- Creating rosters, approving timesheets and annual/personal leave using the Deputy Scheduling App.
- Marketing and content creation across multiple social media and online platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Mail Chimp and our various business websites. An advantage, but not essential.
- Ensuring excellent communication with customers, neighbours, local businesses and suppliers.
- Ensuring excellent communication between internal FOH Cashiers, kitchen teams and Management.
- Continuous quality improvement and effective time management
- Working with integrity, honesty and energy to promote the business’s culture and values.

The successful applicant will have the following:

- A minimum of one year’s experience as a Fast Food, Café, Retail or FOH Restaurant Manager
- Excellent personal presentation, time management and communication skills
- Proven ability to confidently lead a team
- Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekdays, weekends, public holidays and evening trade.
- Current Food Safety and Responsible Servicing of Alcohol certificates.
- An Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or have an appropriate visa to live and work in Australia.

What we offer:

- The majority of working hours will be across a five day week, with two consecutive days off. Weekend and and evening work as required.
- All of our staff are properly remunerated, superannuated and protected by the federal Award as a minimum (Hospitality Award, Level 5 Food & Beverage Supervisor rate). You will be well trained, dedicated and rewarded beyond the Award for your extra efforts.
