Stamford Plaza Melbourne is a five -star hotel located at the ‘Paris end’ of Little Collins Street in the heart of the shopping and theatre district.
We are looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our dining space.
Permanent full time position
Rotating shifts including nights and weekends
As the Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the team in accordance with standard operating procedures, training staff on performance standards, Food & Beverage menus and product knowledge.
In addition to the above, other duties of this position include:
**Coordinating the operations of different outlets**: bar, room service, breakfast buffet, and banquets
Deal with guest complaints following correct hotel procedures.
Attend shift handover briefings, read and action items in communication diary and noticeboard.
Prepare fortnightly rosters.
**We are looking for a person with the following attributes**:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, within the hotel industry.
Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Management (highly desirable).
Strong leadership skills and experience.
Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
