**The Opportunity**
Lead and guide your team with expert Injury Management advice as they assist injured workers on their journey to recovery and a return to full duties.
**Your New Role**
Join QBE's Managed Fund Claims (Worker's Compensation) team in this critical role. We are looking for a strong, experienced Injury Management Specialist to take command of coaching and supporting the team, while driving the overall success of our **Self-Insurance** business clients.
**The role will include**:
- Provide proactive, expert injury management advice to claims staff and clients.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in processes, procedures, standards, and guidelines, ensuring they align with best industry practices.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements for medical and injury management interventions.
- Contribute to the creation of training materials and policies around injury, treatment, and medical management best practices.
- Boost team performance and elevate the broader business capability through direct training and coaching.
**About You**
- Extensive experience in workers' compensation claims
- specifically Self-Insurance.
- Preferred qualifications and experience in psychology.
- Background in Allied Health, Clinical, supervisory, or workplace-based rehabilitation.
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of workers' compensation laws, with a focus on legislative knowledge and work capacity decisions.
- Proven experience coaching Case Managers, driving decisions, and managing complex claims.
- Strong communication, people skills, and the ability to build a solid network.
