**THE OPPORTUNITY**

As part of our diverse team based in **Tweed Heads**, you will help make a positive impact on someone's life every day. You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose.

This will be a **full time, **permanent** position based in the **Tweed Heads **office, with flexibility to work from home.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work directly with claims specialists as part of a team to deliver the icare customer experience
- Encourage proactive and open communication with key stakeholders during decision making process
- Provide regular advice and feedback to Claims Specialists and Team Leaders on adverse decisions relating to injury management (treatment, services, medication etc).
- Report to the Injury Management community and contribute to practice and professional development initiatives
- Promote and provide injury management support to claims team within agreed timeframes

**ABOUT YOU**
- A background in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Nursing, Psychology, Social Work or Exercise Science) advantageous
- Excellent understanding of the Workers Compensation Act 1987 (NSW) & the Workplace Injury Management & Workers Compensation Act 1998 (NSW)
- Demonstrated experience in Injury Management, particularly high-risk significant injury claims
- Ability and commitment to continuous learning
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
