**About the opportunity**

We are currently seeking a **Reconciliation officer** (Finance) with strong communication skills and **can-do attitude** to join our team at our **Head Office in Sydney CBD on a 3 months temporary fixed term contract with the possibility of extension.**

You will work with a wonderful team of dedicated people and your contribution will make a difference to our residents’ enjoyment of their life every day.

**About the Role**
- Maintain the end-to-end process for the Reconciliation of all Income, Expense and Balance Sheet general ledger accounts for several entities (up to 40). This will include reconciliation of discrepancies between multiple systems, ensuring accuracy of data.
- Effectively assist with audit queries with regards to Reconciliations.
- Ensure we have all supporting documentation for the Reconciliations.
- Escalate all outstanding issues as required
- Completing reconciliation of internal & external systems and amending where appropriate
- Assist Finance team with related reconciliations and ad hoc tasks
- Provide regular updates on progress of all Reconciliations.

**About You**
- Degree in a related field and/or Business Analytics and IT Knowledge or currently studying
- Detailed understanding of, and practical experience of using different data tools to transform and analyse different data sets
- Strong proficiency with spreadsheets, business intelligence tools (Power BI)
- Strong quantitative abilities including the ability to solve complex problems
- Knowledge of financial modelling
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships
- Good organisational and administration skills
- Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other analytical tools
- Current Driver’s Licence
