You will be joining a fast-paced business within a blue-collar sector.
**Your new role**
As a Reconciliation, Diversity & Inclusion Officer, you will report to the HR Manager and be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing strategies, policies, and initiatives that foster reconciliation, diversity, and inclusion
- Providing advice and support on matters related to reconciliation, diversity, and inclusion, such as cultural awareness, anti-discrimination, and harassment prevention
- Organising and facilitating training, workshops, and events that promote reconciliation, diversity, and inclusion
- Monitoring and evaluating the impact and effectiveness of our reconciliation, diversity, and inclusion programs and activities
**What you'll need to succeed**
Being passionate about promoting reconciliation, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace will lead you to success, as well as:
- A relevant qualification in human resources, or a related field
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the history, culture, and aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in developing and delivering reconciliation, diversity, and inclusion programs and initiatives in the blue-collar sector
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- A strong commitment to the values and vision of reconciliation, diversity, and inclusion
