KE is currently seeking an experienced Factory Material Handler to support the fabrication & assembly of material handling technology.

What we need from you:

- Show initiative with taking receipt of incoming materials, checking items delivered against ordered for accuracy and quality, entering the detail to KE’s purchasing system.
- Provide a high standard of communication, accuracy and attention to detail during the unloading and processing of raw materials for use by KE tradespeople.
- Always maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Work closely with suppliers and the project delivery team to execute the multi-layered procurement process resulting in engineered parts that deliver against customer expectations.
- Diligently track procured items, materials and parts requiring multiple processing steps for each customer project through the course of manufacturing including directly assisting with assembly movement through the workshop and external logistics.
- Be organised and work at a pace that gives KE the best opportunity to achieve project deadlines.
- Take pride and ownership in maintaining good housekeeping and order of equipment stored in the KE workshop and rear yards.

What You Need to do This Job
- An appropriate level of physical fitness.
- Experience in a similar role and industry.
- Experience with handling and working with steel.
- Organisation skills and a work rate that ensures you meet deadlines.
- The ability to record and communicate your work schedule.
- High risk license: LF (forklift).
- High risk license: DG (dogman).
- Current drivers’ license.
